Our Standard package delivers the complete field science experience, including hands-on eDNA sampling, live plankton microscopy, all expedition equipment, and guidance from a PhD Marine Biologist. Upgrading to the Premium package takes the science from the beach to the lab, directly funding the rigorous processing of the samples we collect together. This covers DNA extraction, amplification, next-generation sequencing, and bioinformatic decoding, which allows us to create highly accurate wildlife inventories for your specific time and location. Ultimately, the genetic sequences from your expedition are formally published to GenBank (the global open-access genetic database) under your name, cementing your personal, lasting contribution to marine conservation.

Think of eDNA as a genetic barcode left behind in the water. As marine life—from microscopic plankton to massive whale sharks—moves through the ocean, they naturally shed cellular material like skin cells, mucus, and scales. By filtering the seawater and sequencing these "invisible footprints," we can identify which species are present without ever disturbing or even seeing them. Not at all! Sandboarding is incredibly fun and accessible for beginners. We provide all the safety gear (helmets and dust goggles) and your guide will give you a full tutorial. You can slide down standing up or sitting down—whatever makes you comfortable!

Swimwear, towel, biodegradable sunscreen, a light jacket or windbreaker (especially in winter), and a sun hat. We provide all scientific gear, snorkel equipment, wetsuits (in winter), and your regional gourmet lunch.

Yes! Families are very welcome. Children under 2 join free (please let us know in advance), and kids of all ages love examining live plankton through our field microscope.

All our expeditions require a minimum of 6 passengers to confirm departure. If your selected date has not reached this minimum, we will contact you 72 hours before the scheduled departure. At that point, you will have the option to reschedule to a confirmed date, upgrade to a private buyout to keep your current date, or receive a full refund of your deposit.

We offer a 100% full refund for cancellations made at least 72 hours prior to your expedition departure date.
